Notice of Violation and Repair

This Notice of violation and Repair is issued in accordance with Municipality of Bayham By-law #2002-009 being a By-law for the maintenance of yards.

Date Issued August 4, 2009

Property: Maintenance Yard at the corner of Elizabeth and Wellington.

Registered owner: Bayham Municipality

During an inspection of the above noted property the following contraventions of provisions prescribed under the Municipality of Bayham By-law #2002-009 were noted:

6.No person or occupant shall use any property as a place to store, keep display, pile or accumulate any debris or waste material

3.1 Every owner shall keep all yards, grounds and vacant lands which he , she or they may own lease of occupy, cleaned and cleared of all rubbish, debris and waste material. Every property shall be maintained free form conditions that may create a health, safety or fire hazard.


5.3 Every owner shall keep every property which he, she of they may own, lease or occupy clear and clean of machinery or parts thereof or other object or parts thereof or the accumulation of material that creates an unsafe condition.


The above noted contraventions of By-law 2002-009 must be corrected on or before August 28th 2009. Failing to bring the property not compliance by the said date shall result in the exercising remedies under bylaw #2002-009 section 20.8


Please note the safety hazard of an abandoned tower on the property as well as machinery, tanks, broken, rusted fences and many noxious weeds along the fence lines.
