Here is Jerry Nolans basic frame for the Monarch Trailer to fit the monarch Trailer drawings. October 2000 |
These are my rough sketches:
More detailed ones to follow, the rough width inside is 7 ft across and the length syould be about 22 ft. I imagine making a 1x2 frame and covering it with fiberglass cloth and epoxy. A set of axles and a tongue may be better than a ultility trailer, available from Northern.

Oct 2001 OK the plug (jims old trailer) is inside. We have increased the height to accomodate a tray for the fuselage. This is going to be one large plug so we have decided to divide it into four parts that bolt together. The parts will be made a section at a time and will be bolted and then fiberglassed together. It is also possible to ship the parts disassembled. |
